Beach Cities Sharks, a leader in youth football and cheer and a pillar of the South Bay community, has announced open enrollment for this year’s upcoming fall season. With THREE Championship titles clinched at the iconic SoFi Stadium last year by our football teams and TOP local and regional placements for our cheerleading teams, this organization is not only poised for another thrilling season but also showcases the power of community investment in youth development—and we want your talented youth to be a part of the action.

Generations of Leadership
The Pop Warner football organization proudly celebrates this multi-generational family that has helped shape the spirit and success of the program for decades. At the helm for the past 3 years is Nikki Vasquez, President of the local Pop Warner chapter, whose journey began on the sidelines as a young cheerleader. Her passion for youth sports and community leadership was sparked early, inspired by her family’s deep involvement in the organization. She now serves as inspiration for many young women watching her lead boldly within the organization.
Nikki’s brother once took the field as a dedicated Pop Warner football player, while their father served in a pivotal leadership role for the San Diego division, laying the foundation for a family tradition rooted in teamwork, mentorship, and service. Together, the family has exemplified the values of Pop Warner—developing young athletes, fostering community, and building character through sport.
